Fans brutally roasted Dan Hooker after he expressed a desire to be a matchmaker for Dana White's Power Slap League.
The league, which is set to air on TBS on January 18, has been criticized for its lack of safety measures for participants and the potential for head trauma. White is already facing backlash over the fighter's pay issue in the UFC, and this latest venture seems to have landed him in hot water yet again.
While some fighters have endorsed the contest, several have criticized the sport. Taking to his Twitter handle, Dan Hooker recently tweeted about the unique sport and jokingly claimed that he would like to work as a matchmaker for Slap Fight content.

Dan Hooker evaluates Paddy Pimblett as lightweight
Appearing in a recent interview with It's Time For Sports, Dan Hooker claimed he isn't impressed with Paddy Pimblett's skills and does not believe he is good enough to compete with the top fighters in the lightweight division.
Giving his take on 'The Baddy', the Kiwi fighter had this to say:
"[The UFC] want to keep [the hype] going as long as they can, so keep him away from [the best]. Keep him on the, maybe not even the Jared Gordons, you know what I mean!? I don't know... The benefit of the UFC is getting you a title shot in the shortest time possible... Why doesn't he want to take that path? He wouldn't if he didn't have the skills to hang."
Check out Dan Hooker's comments on Paddy Pimblett:
Hooker was last seen at UFC 281, where he earned a convincing win against submission specialist Claudio Puelles. He defeated Puelles via TKO in the second round of their fight.
Hooker will be fighting Jalin Turner in the co-main event of UFC 285 on March 4, with the heavyweight championship fight between Jon Jones and Ciryl Gane as the headlining event.
