One of the best UFC fighters to never win the coveted title, Donald 'Cowboy' Cerrone, has shocked fans with his latest Instagram post. The former fighter has put on an impressive amount of muscle since stepping away from the sport earlier this year.
Whether 'Cowboy' was just sharpening his sword or preparing for a return to combat sports is unclear at this stage, as Cerrone posted the following:
"Hello Darkness My Old Friend!"

Donald Cerrone left the UFC after an unfortunate series of losses, but the former title contender will forever remain in the history books of the promotion. 'Cowboy' is tied for the second-most wins in UFC history, tied second for most finishes in the UFC, and is tied for the all-time post-fight bonuses with Charles Olivera.
Whether or not the bonafide MMA legend chooses to come out of retirement or not, he has left fans with a lifetime of memories to look back on and cherish.
UFC fighter Jared Gordon details shooting heroin at Donald Cerrone's ranch
Jared Gordon recently faced off against Paddy Pimblett at UFC 282 and lost one of the more controversial decisions of 2022. Given that he was fighting someone carrying an immense amount of hype in Pimblett, 'Flash' was subjected to far more media pre-fight.
Light was shed on the grim circumstances that Gordon rose from in order to realize his dreams, fighting both drug addiction and a battle with the law on a consistent basis. Gordon is incredibly open about talking about his past struggles and shared an eye-opening story about getting caught with heroin at Donald Cerrone's ranch.
'Flash' appeared on Michael Bisping's podcast following UFC 282 and discussed his journey from the depths of despair to the bright lights of the biggest MMA promotion in the world:
"[Paul] Felder was Ross Pearson, and I was a similar style, shorter, stocky, the way we move, so I was asked to come out for him, and I was shooting dope at the Ranch."
'Flash' then continued by saying:
"I was passed out in my room on the bed, and I think Jonavin (Webb) came to me and was like, ‘Hey, we need to talk to you inside.' When I shot up, I left my toiletry bag on top of the toilet, with all my dope and needles in there, and I just, like rolled out of the bathroom, and fell on the bed, and passed out. Obviously, someone went to take a piss and they saw it."
