Filipina MMA sensation Denice Zamboanga believes that it is only a matter of time before the stars align again, and she finally fights longtime friend and former training partner Stamp Fairtex — the reigning ONE women's atomweight MMA world champion.
Speaking recently with the Bangkok Post, 'The Menace' mentioned:
"I think she's doing well right now. But I think if she comes back to fighting, she's 100 percent. So I think fighting with her is [gonna be] quite good. I think a lot of fans are waiting for our fight."

After years of proving she deserves to fight for the division's top prize, Zamboanga received her opportunity to challenge Stamp for the undisputed crown at ONE 167 in June.
However, disaster struck the champion a few weeks before the event. Stamp tore the meniscus in her left knee during training camp and was unfortunately forced to withdraw.
With Stamp still recovering, ONE's decision-makers activated the interim women's atomweight MMA world championship. Zamboanga and Alyona Rassohyna will vie for the interim crown at ONE Fight Night 27 on Friday, Jan. 10. The event will occur inside the Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.
Lito Adiwang expects Denice Zamboanga to lean on her striking versus Alyona Rassohyna
Lito Adiwang, an established ONE strawweight MMA fighter and compatriot of Denice Zamboanga, hopes she will use her striking advantage to its fullest to defeat Alyona Rassohyna.
'Thunder Kid' said as much in an interview with ABS-CBN News:
"Striking-wise, I think for as long as [Zamboanga] has prepared for it, she'll have the advantage because of her boxing. She also has kicks in her arsenal. It might come in sparingly, but it's powerful."
ONE Fight Night 27 will air live and free to all Prime Video subscribers in the United States and Canada.
