ONE Championship fans overwhelmingly show praise for Rodtang Jitmuangnon vs. Jonathan Haggerty
Although ONE Championship fans picked various matchups as their favorites, one fight that continued to be mentioned was Rodtang Jitmuangnon vs. Jonathan Haggerty. The Muay Thai superstars have fought each other twice, once in 2019 and another in 2020, with Rodtang winning both times.
Rodtang and Haggerty each have upcoming bouts against different opponents. ‘The Iron Man’ actually has two scheduled matchups. The first against Superlek Kiatmoo9 for the flyweight kickboxing world champion on March 24 at ONE Fight Night 8 on Prime Video. He will also defend his flyweight Muay Thai throne against Edgar Tabares on May 5 at ONE Fight Night 10.
Both of Rodtang’s upcoming fights can be seen live and for free by North American Prime Video subscribers.
Meanwhile, Haggerty is moving to the bantamweight Muay Thai division. ‘The General’ looks to pull off an upset on April 21 at ONE Fight Night 9 as he looks to dethrone the legendary Nong-O Hama. The U.K. native has the skills to defeat any opponent, but Nong-O has remained undefeated in ONE with ten consecutive Muay Thai wins.
