MMA star Khabib Nurmagomedov is going to be a part of Islam Makhachev and Umar Nurmagomedov's corner at UFC 311. Ahead of the highly anticipated event, Nurmagomedov's coach Javier Mendez weighed in on how 'The Eagle' was dealing with the pressure of the situation.
Mendez recently did an interview with 'The Schmo', where he was asked about the former lightweight champion's father Abdulmanap Nurmagomedov's vision for his pupils, calling it:
"Father's plan."
The coach responded by saying everything was coming together ahead of the event and opined that Nurmagomedov was possibly going to have a stressful night as he will be performing corner duties back-to-back in the co-main event and the main event of UFC 311.

"Everything's coming to what we expected on January 18 and it's gonna be one of those days where it's going to be really busy for [Khabib Nurmagomedov] mentally because he has to deal with two of his brothers that he loves to death. One is his cousin [Umar Nurmagomedov] and one is Islam, who he's had been training with since childhood."
"So for him, it's going to be a ball of nerves. For me, it's going to be not that bad at all because I'm used to it now. I can go right through it, not a problem. He's going to be a wreck that day," he added.
