Fear doesn't exist in Johan Ghazali's dictionary as he seeks to get another year off to a flyer on martial arts' biggest stage.
The Malaysian-American teenage sensation dukes it out against Johan Estupinan in a flyweight Muay Thai duel at ONE 170 inside the Impact Arena in Bangkok, Thailand.
Never one to lack confidence, the 18-year-old striking specialist believes he is on the verge of adding his seventh win in the promotion come fight night. That said, he also knows 'Panda Kick' won't raise the white flag at any juncture.

He expects a tough dance against the undefeated Colombian this Friday, Jan. 24, but he does not want fans to mix up his more vigilant approach with nervousness.
Johan Ghazali told Sportskeeda MMA in an exclusive interview:
"I don't think there's fear going up against someone like him. The feeling I have is more of being cautious. I know what he brings, so I don't want to go in there and push my luck, you know? I'm never afraid to fight."
The Rentap Muay Thai Gym and Superbon Training Camp affiliate has left no stone unturned, after all, to further boost his confidence in getting his hand raised.
'Jojo' has spent his entire fight camp inside the Thai capital city, where he's trained under the tutelage of Trainer Gae, Superbon, Nong-O Hama, and Petchtanong Petchfergus.
If he can take a thing or two from these legends of the sport and add it to his monstrous knockout power, danger could be brewing for Estupinan at ONE 170.
Johan Ghazali says Superbon's hunger will power him to two-sport glory at ONE 170
In the same interview with Sportskeeda MMA, Johan Ghazali discussed Superbon's chances of completing his two-sport dream in Bangkok.
Per the teenage star, the Superbon Training Camp head honcho's hunger to win is off the charts, and that alone will help him realize his dream of adding another prestigious 26 pounds of gold:
"What sets Superbon apart in this rematch...I mean training with him, I think I see his hunger. Not saying Tawanchai isn't going to be motivated. But having trained with Superbon every day, I can see his dedication and determination."
The ONE featherweight kickboxing world champion looks to avenge his December 2023 loss to Tawanchai PK Saenchai and claim the latter's Muay Thai gold in the ONE 170 main event.
