Despite being early into his professional career, 20-year-old Muay Thai phenom Nabil Anane has faced some of the best athletes in ONE Championship and has tallied an impressive record of four wins and one loss.

His journey in the promotion was recently relived through an Instagram post by ONE Championship:

"Eyes on the prize 🤩 Can fourth-ranked bantamweight Muay Thai contender Nabil Anane keep his winning streak going against Myanmar star Soe Lin Oo at ONE Friday Fights 81? 💥 @nabil_anane"

In the video, Anane overcame a debut loss at the hands of two-sport and two-division world champion Superlek Kiatmoo9 in June 2023 at ONE Friday Fights 22 via first-round knockout.

But instead of losing confidence, he bounced back and won his next four fights, beating the likes of Nakrob Fairtex, Muangthai PK Saenchai, Kulabdam Sor Jor Piek Uthai, and Felipe Lobo to barge himself into the top five rankings of the division and claim the fourth spot.

This impressive comeback story of the Algerian-Thai rising star has got the attention of fans, as users @fightingdad_, @fernylegit, @harithzaidd, @reallykekela, and @kofiannnnn sent him positive messages with their comments:

"Bro was fed to the wolves and never gave up, what a story"
"imagine your debut fight against superlek 😅😅 WARRIOR"
"Level 1: Final boss"
"He should knee more, that leverage is insane 🔥"
"Guy's physique is built for knees and elbows damn."

Superlek believes that more experience can help Nabil Anane become a tough fighter to beat

ONE bantamweight Muay Thai and flyweight kickboxing world champion Superlek may have beaten Anane in the past, but he believes that the more experience he gets in fighting, the tougher it is for him to be toppled.

'The Kicking Machine' declared this in a recent interview with the South China Morning Post, as he said:

"Now that he has more experience, I think he has been good, like the time he fought me, I think he was already good. And now that he's getting these experiences, getting the confidence, I think he will build up his skills very fast. And one day, not too long from now, I think he will be one of the toughest fighters to beat."
