Fierce bantamweight Muay Thai rematch between Felipe Lobo and Saemapetch Fairtex set for ONE Fight Night 28

ONE Fight Night 28 has been bolstered by another gem of a matchup between Felipe Lobo and Saemapetch Fairtex.

The card takes place inside Bangkok's Lumpinee Stadium live in American primetime on Feb. 7. The former top-five bantamweight Muay Thai contenders know a victory on fight night could carve a direct path back into the upper echelons of the division, and they will look to go all out in search of the spectacular to get off to winning ways in 2025.

For the Fairtex Training Center affiliate, this three-round tie also provides him the opportunity to exact revenge. Back at ONE Fight Night 9 in April, Lobo ended the Thai's two-match winning streak with a salvo of strikes on his way to a memorable knockout around two minutes into the third round.

Before that unfortunate moment though, Saemapetch held his own and even sent the Brazilian down with his trademark left hook. Still, 'Demolition Man' hung on to turn the tide and come out victorious.

Fueled by revenge, fans can expect the Muay Thai specialist to be at his best in this ONE Fight Night 28 rematch. That said, Lobo is on a comeback arc of his own.

Since that $50,000 bonus-winning performance, the Tiger Muay Thai athlete has yet to get his hand raised inside the circle.

He was handed a taste of his own medicine in his ONE bantamweight Muay Thai world title challenge against defending king Jonathan Haggerty before losing on the scorecards to Algerian-Thai phenom Nabil Anane.

That said, Lobo's pace, power, and precision were nothing short of immense in both those fights, and if he can slightly alter things, another victory is surely there for the taking for the Brazilian at ONE Fight Night 28.

Confirmed bouts for ONE Fight Night 28

In the main event of ONE Fight Night 28, two-sport king Prajanchai PK Saenchai puts his ONE strawweight Muay Thai world title on the line against British slugger Ellis Badr Barboza.

Meanwhile, Filipino MMA standouts Lito Adiwang and Jeremy Pacatiw are back in action too. The former goes toe-to-toe with Japan's Keito Yamakita in a strawweight contest, while Pacatiw locks horns with Russian phenom Ibragim Dauev in a bantamweight duel.

Last but not least, Sean Climaco welcomes Colombian-American representative Diego Paez in a flyweight MMA tussle.

ONE Fight Night 28 will be available live in U.S. primetime for free to active Amazon Prime Video subscribers in North America.
