Los Angeles has been engulfed by deadly wildfires making the MMA fans nervous about the future of UFC 311. Thousands of structures have suffered damage and at least ten casualties are feared. In view of the devastation due to the fire, the Rod Wave's concert scheduled to be hosted in the Intuit Dome in Inglewood, California is canceled and the Trinity-Mission League Showcase is also rescheduled.
UFC 311 will take place in the same venue on Jan. 18, 2025. After the cancellation of the aforementioned shows, the MMA fans expressed their concerns on X, fearing for a similar fate for the pay-per-view event.
A fan reacting to the post while praying for everyone's safety expressed their concern:

"OMG I hope everyone is safe looks like this fight is gonna be rescheduled."
A fan suggested relocating the venue instead of canceling UFC 311 by writing:
"They better not postpone it just move venue."
Another one heaved a sigh of relief for not buying the tickets to the show:
"I legit was so close to getting tickets for this stacked card, so happy now didn’t fly to LA."

Payton Talbott intends to fight Andrew Tate after he takes care of business at UFC 311
Payton Talbott is scheduled to lock horns with Raoni Barcelos at UFC 311 in a bantamweight showdown in its preliminary card. The 26-year-old fighter has a perfect professional record of 9-0 and made his UFC debut in 2023.
He expressed his wish to take on 'Top G' after his business at the pay-per-view event is over in an interview with MMA journalist Ariel Helwani. Not being a big fan of the former kickboxer, Talbott called him his anti-thesis who is having a "vendetta" against women.
"He’s like the antithesis of me. It just seems like somebody cheated on him when he was younger and now he has this vendetta against women... He’s just a poison for masculine culture."
