With ONE Championship's first premium live event of 2025 just around the corner, the anticipation is already building across social media.

Recently, the promotion posted a poll asking its followers, "What’s your boldest prediction for 2025?" The response was overwhelming, as fans flocked to the comments to share their predictions and excitement.

A significant number of fans are backing Rodtang Jitmuangnon, who will headline ONE 172 on March 23 in a highly anticipated five-round flyweight kickboxing super-fight against Takeru Segawa.

They said:

“Fight of the year! Both are great fighters, but a victory for Rodtang.”

“Rodtang beats Takeru in round one by clean knockout.”

However, user @bigl2k24 voiced a differing opinion, predicting that Takeru would have the final say over Rodtang.

“Takeru is going to win by KO.”

Meanwhile, others are keeping a close watch on the clash between Nico Carrillo and Nabil Anane for the ONE interim bantamweight Muay Thai world championship at ONE 170 on January 24:

ONE hosts two big events in January

As the new year begins, ONE Championship is set to maintain its momentum with two major shows.

First on the agenda is ONE Fight Night 27, which will air live in U.S. primetime from the iconic Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand, on Friday, January 10.

The main event will feature ONE featherweight MMA world champion Tang Kai defending his belt against Akbar Abdullaev., while Denice Zamboanga will take on Alyona Rassohyna for the ONE interim women’s atomweight MMA world title in the co-feature attraction.

On January 24, the spotlight will shift to ONE 170 at Bangkok’s Impact Arena.

The marquee matchup will be the much-awaited rematch between Tawanchai PK Saenchai and Superbon for the ONE featherweight Muay Thai world title.

In addition, top-five contenders Nico Carrillo and Nabil Anane will face off for the interim bantamweight Muay Thai crown.

Also, ONE bantamweight MMA world champion Fabricio Andrade will stake his throne against Kwon Won Il in a rematch of their June 2022 battle.
