Muay Thai rising star Johan Ghazali gained some insight into how he can be a better martial artist after knocking out Josue Cruz at ONE 168: Denver.

The 17-year-old sensation discovered that he's got more than just skill and talent to help him propel his career in ONE Championship. Last Friday, he learned that he's a lot more resilient than he ever anticipated.

At the ONE 168 in-circle interviews, Ghazali shared some of the insight he gained after bouncing back into the winning column against Cruz:

"Fighting resembles a lot of life, you know. So what I'm trying to say is, when life throws sh*t at you, you know what you do? Yo throw sh*t back. And here I am."

On Sept. 6, 'Jojo' Ghazali was able to replicate the same exuberant confidence he had when he first embarked on his Muay Thai journey last year. "He still has a room for development" - Rodtang believes Johan Ghazali has what it takes to learn from the past and become a big star in ONE Championship

Flyweight Muay Thai king Rodtang Jitmuangnon has high regards for Johan Ghazali.

Having been in his position before, Rodtang understands that its important to overcome adversity after hitting a brick wall.

There's enourmous pressure to contend with, both inside and outside the Muay Thai ring. However, Rodtang believes that Ghazali has what it takes to be composed under pressure and to stay consistent with his training.

Rooting for him and his future success, Rodtang shared the following response to Ghazali's first lone loss at ONE 167:

"He has proven himself. He failed for the first time because he is young. But I believe he still has a room for development."
