Paige VanZant recently came under fire from the combat sports community for posting new photos in the wake of her split draw against Elle Brooke. '12 Gauge' squared off against fellow OnlyF*ns model Brooke in the headline bout of Misfits 15 (MF & DAZN: X Series 15) last weekend at the NRG Arena in Houston, Texas.
VanZant was making her square circle debut, with many expecting her experience as a former UFC strawweight fighter to prevail over 'Dumble Dong', known for bouts in influencer setups. However, the American found herself on the back foot early on after being knocked down by Brooke in the opening round.
Despite the opportunity, Brooke couldn't capitalize on the chance to end the fight early. Instead, both fighters battled through the full five rounds, resulting in a split draw. The judges' scorecards reflected the close contest, with two judges scoring 46-48 for each boxer and one scoring 47-47.

One fan wrote:
"Cause obviously fighting isn't your thing."
Another wrote:
"THIS is what you’re good at; fighting is not. Sad that this is what makes you feel good about yourself, though."

Since leaving the UFC, VanZant has participated in three competitions, including two BKFC matches where she suffered defeats by decision. She has not secured a victory since her submission win over Rachael Ostovich at a UFC Fight Night event in Jan. 2019.
Paige VanZant weighs in on her split draw against Elle Brooke
Following her split draw with Elle Brooke, Paige VanZant took to Instagram the next day to express her thoughts on the bout and reveal her plans for a rematch, possibly in London. In a video message, '12 Gauge' confidently stated her belief that she should have been the victor:
"Obviously, we didn’t get the results we predicted. I really thought that we did enough at the end. My whole team thought we did enough. I think a lot of people did. The judging was a little bit nuts, but it looks like it sets up a perfect rematch. I just have to go on her turf and take her belt there. So I’ll see all of you guys in London."
