Danny Kingad is out to prove that he has the power to send anyone to the shadow realm.

The Filipino star will face old nemesis Adriano Moraes in a pivotal flyweight MMA contest at the stacked ONE 169 card on November 8, US primetime, at the historic Lumpinee Stadium.

In an interview with ONE Championship, Kingad said he's determined to show that he's more than just a technical fighter and is someone fully capable of knocking Moraes out.

Danny Kingad said:

"This is going to be a great fight. I’m looking for that knockout win. I’m going to get my hand raised.”

Kingad has always been one of the most versatile fighters from the Philippines, but his wrestling-heavy style is often considered vastly different from his compatriots.

The Philippines produced some of the most heavy-handed fighters in ONE Championship with the likes of former ONE lightweight MMA world champion Eduard Folayang, ONE strawweight MMA world champion Joshua Pacio, Lito Adiwang, and Jeremy Miado tallying highlight reel knockouts in their resumes.

Nevertheless, Kingad is determined to follow on that trend and produce his highlight reel at the expense of Moraes at ONE 169.

Moraes, however, could be a tough puzzle for Kingad to solve.

The former ONE flyweight MMA world champion already owns a win over Kingad when he submitted 'The King' in their first meeting at ONE: Legends of the World in November 2017 in Manila.

Kingad's rematch against Moraes and the entire ONE 169 card are available live and free to all Prime Video subscribers in the United States and Canada.

Danny Kingad promises his next match against Adriano Moraes will be different from their last

The first meeting between Danny Kingad and Adriano Moraes was a completely dominant showing from the Brazilian submission machine.

Moraes had no problems taking Kingad to the ground and securing the first-round submission win.

Kingad, however, believes that his next match against Moraes won't be the same as the last one.

In an interview with Philstar, Kingad said he's improved drastically since their 2017 matchup and he's ready to showcase what he worked on against Moraes in Bangkok:

"Through the years, the experience that I've garnered, the training that I've had, it's going to be entirely different this time."
