Emanating from the legendary Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand on Friday, Jan. 10, ONE Championship will present a loaded ONE Fight Night 27 card featuring an interim atomweight MMA world title clash between Zamboanga — the division's second-ranked contender — and Rassohyna.

That has left 'The Menace' feeling extremely confident ahead of her first shot at 26 pounds of ONE gold. In a recent interview with ABS-CBN, Zamboanga said:
"I'm confident that I'll get to finish her wherever it goes, whether it be on the feet or on the ground".
Originally, Zamboanga was scheduled to challenge undisputed atomweight queen Stamp Fairtex at ONE 167 in June, but an injury forced Stamp to bow out of the bout. Instead, Zamboanga scored a dominant decision win over Grandjean and will now look to bring a ONE world title back home to the Philippines.

While Denice Zamboanga has remained fairly active in recent years, going 6-2 in her ONE Championship run, the same can't be said for her ONE Fight Night 27 opponent.
Alyona Rassohyna has only competed twice on martial arts' biggest global stage, though both of those appearances came against Stamp Fairtex. The 34-year-old from Ukraine landed a big submission victory over the Thai superstar in their inaugural meeting at ONE: Unbreakable III, but came up short in their rematch seven months later.
