Denice Zamboanga knows firsthand just how insanely talented her former teammate and training partner Stamp Fairtex truly is.
That said, 'The Menace' is extremely impressed by her next opponent Alyona Rassohyna, since she was able to make the Thai superstar appear human inside the Circle.
With Stamp still recovering from a torn meniscus, Zamboanga and Rassohyna will vie for the interim atomweight MMA crown in the co-main event of ONE Fight Night 27: Tang vs Abdullaev on Prime Video this coming Friday, Jan. 10 inside Bangkok's iconic Lumpinee Stadium.

Stamp boasts an 11-2 MMA record in the home of martial arts, with one of those two setbacks coming at the hands of Rassohyna back at ONE: Unbreakable III in 2021.
Denice Zamboanga was admittedly in awe of how the Ukrainian grappler imposed her will on Stamp on the ground, and eventually submitted her via a guillotine choke.
"In their fight, it was the first time I saw Stamp really struggle," Zamboanga told ONE Championship.
"Before that, I don’t think there was a fighter who really made it difficult for Stamp. It was only Alyona," she added.
Meanwhile, Stamp was able to avenge that defeat against Rassohyna in their second encounter. We'll soon see if 'The Menace' can emulate the three-sport queen's path to victory at ONE Fight Night 27.

Denice Zamboanga ready to unleash her frustrations at Alyona Rassohyna's expense
Denice Zamboanga made a ton of sacrifices to ensure she'll be at her best in arguably the biggest fight of her career.
Among those was making sure her diet and conditioning were at peak levels, which meant she had to dial back during the holiday season.
In an earlier interview with One Sports, the Filipina warrior jokingly said she'll vent her ire on the No.4-ranked atomweight MMA contender:
"Maybe I’ll just vent my frustration on not being able to eat a lot and celebrate during the holidays [on] her."
ONE Fight Night 27 will air live in US Primetime free for Prime Video subscribers in the United States and Canada.
