Pugilistic legend Floyd Mayweather Jr. is set to rematch John Gotti III on Aug. 24 at the Arena CDMX in Mexico City. Their original meeting in 2023 was seemingly ruled a no-contest after the referee waived off the bout due to incessant fouling by the fighters.

With obvious bad blood between the two, the pair would be itching to get into the ring and one-up the other in every aspect of the sport. Since bombastic ring walks are an age-old feature of boxing, each fighter would most likely make sure not to get outdone by their opponent in that regard as well.

Let's take a look at a few tracks the fighters have previously walked out to.

'Money' usually walks out to the Money Team anthem in addition to other walk-out songs. However, he has favored hip-hop music during some of his most iconic bouts.

During his legacy-defining clash against fellow boxing great Oscar De La Hoya, Mayweather Jr. walked out to 50 Cent's 2007 track 'Straight to the Bank'. During his blockbuster clash against Conor McGregor in 2017, 'Money' again favored hip hop. He walked out to Meek Mill's 'Ima Boss' to face the UFC superstar.

Gotti III has had a much shorter and less storied career than Mayweather Jr. and little detail is available about his walk-out songs. However, during his first meeting against 'Money', he walked out to a rendition of Carl Orff's 'O Fortuna' from the medieval Latin collection Carmina Burana.

Floyd Mayweather Jr. is often touted as one of the best boxers of all time. Hence 'Money' is the prohibitive favorite for the matchup.

According to BETFRED INSIGHTS, the former five-divisional world champion is a -3300 favorite with Gotti III as a +1000 underdog. However, with the fight over a week out, the final odds might be different.

This means a successful $100 bet on 'Money' will result in a payout of $103.03. But the same wager on the underdog can fetch users a sizeable amount of $1,100 if Gotti gets his hand raised.
