Max Holloway's former opponent and MMA veteran Chan Sun Jung, popularly known by his alias The Korean Zombie, has stated that he will be attending UFC 308, which will be headlined by Ilia Topuria attempting to make the first defense of his featherweight strap against Max Holloway. The event is scheduled to take place at the Etihad Arena in Abu Dhabi on Oct. 26.
UFC 308 tickets went on sale recently and the promotion announced the same with an Instagram post.

Holloway fought The Korean Zombie in the veteran fighter's last professional MMA fight at UFC Singapore, which took place in August 2023. While 'Blessed' won the contest with a vicious third-round KO, he paid a heartfelt tribute to the Korean fighter in the post-fight interview.

Max Holloway and Ilia Topuria both seem prepared for an epic battle at UFC 308. Following the bout announcement, Holloway took to Instagram and wrote:
"Winter is coming."

Holloway holds the record for absorbing the most significant strikes to the head in UFC history. However, he has never been knocked down. Topuria, who is undefeated in his professional MMA career, has promised to be the first fighter to knock Holloway out.

27-year-old Topuria captured the featherweight title with a second-round KO of long-reigning champion Alexander Volkanovski at UFC 298.
Meanwhile, Holloway has looked impressive since losing his trilogy fight against Volkanovski in July 2022. The Hawaiian fighter is coming off the historic fifth-round KO win over Justin Gaethje to win the ceremonial BMF title at UFC 300. As per the time of writing, Topuria is a -190 betting favorite over the +165 underdog Holloway.
Apart from the main event, UFC 308 is shaping up to be an absolutely stacked card, and will feature some truly incredible fights.
