Andrew Tate has now spent over a month in a Romanian prison cell after the controversial internet personality was arrested during a raid by the anti-organized crime unit late last year. Tate and his brother have been accused of several crimes, including human trafficking and assault.
With Andrew Tate jailed till February 27, the former kickboxer recently put out a series of tweets outlining his distressing conditions behind bars. He described darkness and bugs as he dealt with the mental torture of incarceration.
Owing to the former kickboxer's almost 'cult of personality'-like popularity on social media, it is unsurprising that other public personalities voiced their support for him. One such star was UFC middleweight Darren Till. The Liverpudlian is a fan of Tate and recently tweeted out:
"Free Top G."

However, fellow Englishman Michael Bisping seems to have no time for such public sympathy for Andrew Tate and apparently wants to steal the 'Top G' moniker away from the 36-year-old.
Responding to Darren Till's tweet with a quote-tweet of his own, Bisping wittily tweeted out a three-word answer implying that he is the 'Top G' and is indeed free. 'The Count' wrote:
"I am free."
Michael Bisping has made no secret of despising Tate and the UFC Hall of Famer has poked fun at Tate on many occasions.
Andrew Tate jailed: 'Top G' describes harsh prison conditions after court calls for his extended detention
Andrew Tate is not enjoying life behind bars and recently tweeted out parts of his daily newsletter describing his hardships and living conditions inside a prison cell.
Tate and his brother were arrested on December 29 by the Directorate for Investigating Organized Crime and Terrorism (DIICOT) for allegedly committing crimes including human trafficking, rape, and exploitation.
With Andrew Tate jailed for an initial 30-day period as he waited to be officially charged, a Romanian court recently extended the brother's detention period to another 30 days till February 27. Soon after, 'Top G' put out a series of tweets about his seemingly difficult life in jail and iterated that insects and pests were his only friends there. The self-proclaimed 'Trillionare' wrote:
"They are trying to break me. Thrown inside a cell without light. Cockroaches, lice, and bed bugs are my only friends at night... They are trying to break my Iron Mind with unjust imprisonment... They cannot break me. My guards know I am innocent. They know it is unjust."
