Former UFC fighter chimes in after Andrew Tate expresses disgust at IShowSpeed scaring a baby: "I would knock that clown out"

Andrew Tate is not usually a fan of other influencers and most recently shared his criticism of streamer Darren Watkins Jr., better known as IShowSpeed. Tate would be backed up in his disapproval by former UFC title challenger Jake Shields.

Tate reacted to a video of Watkins having a "staring contest" with a baby that ended with him screaming and scaring the infant. Tate called the video "disgusting," causing Shields to respond to his tweet.

Shields quote-tweeted his thoughts, boasting that he would "knock out" Watkins, whom he called a "clown."

The original video received mixed reactions from fans as many shared similar opinions to Tate but a select few chose to defend the streamer in his actions. Watkins appeared to feel remorse for his conduct in the immediate aftermath by apologizing to the father of the child.

Shields followed up his initial reaction by responding to a fan in the comments, saying that Watkins should "at least be slapped" for yelling at a baby.

Shields quickly left the controversy as quickly as he intervened, reverting back to tweeting his thoughts about the Israel-Hamas war and the upcoming United States presidential election.
