Cristiano Ronaldo has become a global superstar through his abilities as a footballer and a long list of accomplishments throughout his legendary career.

It's understandable why other athletes would relish the opportunity to meet him, and that's what happened when former UFC heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou did when he met him in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Ngannou tweeted photos from his interaction with the former 5-time UEFA Champions League winner.

He shared the photos with a caption that read:

"Great talking with the {Goat emoji} in Riyadh today. Very inspirational! @Cristiano"

Obviously, fans who don't share 'The Predator's sentiments regarding his use of the goat emoji commented that they disagreed, but it was a nice moment between the two nonetheless. Ronaldo also shared a photo on his Instagram account and still considers Ngannou the reigning heavyweight champion despite his UFC departure, writing:

"Great to catch up with world champion @francisngannou today !"

CR7 recently made a massive move to Saudi Arabian club Al-Nassr, which will see him earn €200 million per season until 2025. Much like the Portuguese football legend did, Ngannou is exploring options of his own as he has been linked to lucrative boxing fights with the likes of Tyson Fury, which would earn him significantly more than his UFC fights did.

UFC featherweight Arnold Allen supports Cristiano Ronaldo's move to Al-Nassr

Arnold Allen sounded off on the negative criticism Cristiano Ronaldo received after accepting a lucrative offer to join Saudi Arabian club Al-Nassr.

Allen took to Twitter to put the football community on blast for their comments about the Portuguese football legend's decision to cash-in at 37-years-old. He mentioned that he found it ironic that individuals bashing 'CR7' for accepting the Al-Nassr offer would likely do the same if they were given the same offer, writing:

"Love seeing people call Cristiano Ronaldo greedy for signing for big money at the end of his career... Who wouldn't take £485000 a day"

Allen also responded to a comment bringing up that 'CR7' could have damaged his legacy as a footballer for accepting the offer. He mentioned that although he agreed, the money is appealing, writing:

"I think more money is always appealing no matter how rich you are, i do agree with what your saying though"
