Combate Global is a Hispanic-targeted American mixed martial arts sports brand and media corporation. The promotion caters to a millennial audience.

Angelo, who is also the cousin of former UFC veteran Anthony Pettis, is a professional MMA fighter from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and the #80 rated Pro Men’s Bantamweight in the United States Midwest. Pettis' "La Jaula" premiere is scheduled for the first half of 2023. Pettis is currently training at Roufusport MMA under the coaching of Duke Roufus and Scott Cushman.

Anthony Pettis wants Jake Paul to be his next opponent

After Jake Paul announced his 2023 intentions, former UFC lightweight champion Anthony 'Showtime' Pettis had a suggestion for his first PFL bout.

Jake Paul confirmed his agreement with the PFL, adding another cog to the hectic early 2023 MMA news cycle. He'll make his MMA debut later this year against an opponent to be decided in the PFL's pay-per-view division.

Anthony Pettis recently tweeted a heartfelt greeting to Paul, as well as an opponent, for his first PFL matchup.

Paul has hinted at two matches, one in boxing and one in MMA, with former UFC fighter Nate Diaz. Diaz is now a free agent, thus this is a possibility.

Pettis' finest MMA performances are likely beyond him, but he remains a formidable fighter in the PFL. He was one fight away from qualifying for the 2022 PFL Championships when he was defeated by Stevie Ray.

The PFL might initially give Jake Paul a similar combat sports experience level opponent initially, while Anthony Pettis remains an option if the league chooses to go that way.
