Jake Paul vs. Tommy Fury generated plenty of attention among the MMA community, with one former UFC star recently giving his thoughts on the boxing bout.

During episode #338 of their Weighing In podcast, Josh Thomson and former MMA referee 'Big' John McCarthy analyzed the bout. Thomson mentioned that he believes Fury exposed some of 'The Problem Child's weaknesses that future opponents can capitalize on.

"For all the fighters that may potentially start looking to fight Jake Paul or...thinking about fighting someone else, this was a good sample size for them to get an idea of how to beat him." [17:27 - 17:36]

"There was a lot that was laid out. Jake Paul dips his head straight down. Sure, he's bladed but when someone starts punching him...he kind of bends down at the waist and covers...and that uppercut was there all day." [17:38 - 17:54]

It will be interesting to see how 'The Problem Child' looks in his next fight as he now has an idea of what areas he needs to improve on when he steps back into the ring.

Despite being handed the first loss of his professional boxing career, Jake Paul recently revealed that his bout with Tommy Fury did very well on pay-per-view.

In a video uploaded to his YouTube channel, he, along with his brother, Logan Paul discussed the loss to Fury and what could be next for him in his boxing career.

While talking about possible opponents, 'The Problem Child' revealed an early estimate on the pay-per-view buyrate, saying:

"It's probably coming in like over half-a-millon buys...So, the business is great. Obviously, there's still so many names out there for me to fight. I want to do the rematch with Tommy, but I think all those fights are still there and still massive." [17:45 - 18:03]

With the pay-per-view doing well, it would be interesting to see if the rematch can get a larger buyrate.
