Former UFC star Jake Shields recently shared his thoughts on Joe Rogan potentially inviting Russian President Vladimir Putin on his podcast. The jiu-jitsu expert and many other fans expressed a keen interest in hearing what Putin had to say in a conversation with Rogan, given Russia's ongoing conflict with Ukraine.
In an X post, political commentator Jackson Hinkle asked his followers if they'd like to see Rogan and Putin engage in a long-form interview.
Like many others, Shields took to the post's comments section and answered Hinkle's question with a simple six-word response. He wrote:

"This is an interview I want."
Another fan explained why they'd like to hear Putin and Rogan talk on The Joe Rogan Experience podcast and wrote:
"That would be epic. But I'm sure Rogan would have to travel to Russia for that, like Tucker Carlson. But we do need more people sitting down to interview people like Putin. Talking is better than war. That's why I appreciate Tucker Carlson's interview."

Joe Rogan shares thoughts on escalating tension between Russia-Ukraine amid nuclear threats
Joe Rogan recently expressed his concern about the Russia-Ukraine war potentially escalating to a full-blown nuclear conflict. The famous podcaster also slammed the American government for funding one side of the war, leading to a rise in tensions.
During an episode of The Joe Rogan Experience with Scott Storch (JRE #2233), the UFC commentator speculated upon a possible nuclear war between the two warring countries in light of recent events and said:
"They [Russia] fired an Intercontinental Ballistic Missile for the first time ever. It's the first time one of those has ever been used. It's fu*king insanity because those missiles can have nukes [nuclear warheads] on them. This one didn't, but if it does, the whole world changes and it changes because of the military-industrial complex and it changes because the money that's going to Ukraine and it changes because the outgoing president or whoever the fuck is actually running the country has decided to do something fu*king insane. Fu*king insane!"
