Former UFC title contender Jake Shields recently weighed in on the ongoing Sam Bankman-Fried and FTX scandal.
The collapse of crypto exchange FTX has created a scandal that now sees Bankman-Fried facing eight charges that total 110 years in jail if convicted on all counts. The former crypto billionaire has now been extradited to the Bahamas after being released on $250 million bail.
The ludicrous sum of money and who could possibly have paid it all have Shields wondering exactly who Bankman-Fried is connected to. He took to Twitter to pose the following questions:
"Who bailed out SBF for 250 million? The CIA? Does he work for intelligence agencies like Jeffrey Epstein?"

The former UFC title contender then appeared on MMA Junkie and spoke to Mike Bohn about the incident. Shields explained the origin of the confrontation and also detailed why he chose to slap Jackson instead of punching him:
"He called me a nazi, so I got out of the cage [at the UFC PI] and went over and slapped him. Then I picked him up, threw him on the ground, slapped him a few more times. I didn't punch him because, you know, you punch men and you slap b***hes. He's such a little b**h."
