Francis Ngannou is a mixed martial arts free agent after he was unable to come to terms with the UFC on a new contract. The former heavyweight champion had previously teased a boxing match with WBC Heavyweight Champion Tyson Fury. Ngannou recently took to Twitter to respond to the terms set by his potential opponent.
Speaking with Boxxer, Fury had stated:
"If the [Oleksandr] Usyk fight don't get done, we'll be looking at Francis Ngannou for the 'Baddest Man on the Planet' title. I'm sure the WBC can make that up for me. What I was thinking is we do four-ounce gloves in a cage under Queensberry rules with a bad a** referee like Mike Tyson."

Ngannou took to his Twitter account to respond to Fury's demands, accepting them all as he stated:
"*4oz gloves ✅*Cage ✅*Mike Tyson as referee ✅*Queensberry rules✅ What else?- Baddest Man on the Planet"
The pair first teased a potential crossover boxing match in 2022 after Fury knocked out Dillian Whyte to defend his WBC title. While nothing is official, both fighters likely stand to make plenty of money if they do end up clashing sometime in 2023.

Joe Rogan wants Francis Ngannou to get a lucrative payday from a boxing match
While Francis Ngannou is no longer with the UFC, Joe Rogan still has his best interests in mind. While the UFC commentator pleaded with the former heavyweight champion not to sign an exclusive deal, which would allow him to return to the promotion after his boxing fight, Rogan is also hoping for Ngannou to receive a massive payday.
Speaking to Paul Felder on episode #135 of The Joe Rogan Experience MMA Show, the podcast host stated:
"I just want him to get that payday... [The UFC] offered him more money than any heavyweight, but I think the sticking point was that he wanted to be able to go off and do boxing. To his credit, he's like, 'Conor McGregor did it, why can't I do it?'... Conor made $100 million in the Floyd Mayweather fight. That's generational wealth."
While the UFC was willing to partner with Conor McGregor to make the Floyd Mayweather fight happen, they were unwilling to do the same for Ngannou.
