Francis Ngannou recently responded to Jon Jones' defense about ducking by issuing a cryptic callout for a heavyweight clash. Many in the MMA community have blasted the reigning UFC heavyweight champion by accusing him of ducking Tom Aspinall, which has resulted in plenty of viral soundbites from 'Bones'.
In addition to a potential bout against Aspinall, 'Bones' had previously been linked to a contest against the current PFL heavyweight Super Fights champion before his UFC departure. Fans had clamored for the bout, however, it just wasn't meant to be and Jones instead made his heavyweight debut against Ciryl Gane for the vacant heavyweight championship.
After Jones' latest defense against ducking accusations, 'The Predator' chimed in and appeared to express renewed interest in making their long-awaited bout a reality. Ngannou reposted Jones' post to his X account along with a cryptic caption mentioning that he is the only opponent for him to face and that it would be a very lucrative bout:
"Blessings make haters uncomfortable, but they can't change it. There's only one fight, the right fight that will multiply your blessings. #NgannouVsJones"

What did Jon Jones post that resulted in Francis Ngannou responding?
Jon Jones continues to clap back at fans that have trolled him on X after his comments about Tom Aspinall prior to and following UFC 309. However, his latest post resulted in the aforementioned response from Francis Ngannou.
The reigning UFC heavyweight champion expressed his frustration with the thought process some fans have on social media as he believes they are conveniently ignoring his impressive performances.
Jones posted a response to a fan's comment mentioning that he continues to be one of the biggest names in MMA despite only having two fights since 2020:
"Crazy how being called a 'duck' pays better than most of you internet tough guys will make in a lifetime. Two fights in four years and still one of the biggest names in the sport? That's not ducking, that's winning. God's blessings hit different, stay mad."
