Freddie Haggerty (center) believes Jonathan Haggerty (left) will push Superlek (right) to his limits at ONE 168: Denver.

Freddie Haggerty has the biggest confidence that his big brother Jonathan will be able to push through Superlek Kiatmoo9 at the main event tilt of ONE 168: Denver.

When ONE returns to the United States in Ball Arena, Denver, on September 6, Jonathan will defend his ONE bantamweight Muay Thai world title against Superlek to headline the show, live in U.S. primetime.

The older Haggerty has repeatedly proven himself as a fighter who can overcome any pressure, as shown by his shining records in ONE and two golden belts on his shoulders.

In this case, Freddie believes that his brother will be able to take his next opponent to the deep waters and come out victorious.

He told ONE Championship in an interview:

“He’ll drag him into some deep waters. Nobody has ever stuck it on Superlek much. The only person I’ve ever seen take it to him was Takeru in that round at ONE 165. Takeru had him hurt. Somehow he stayed standing. I don’t know how, but he did. He took a lot of shots and showed heart.”

Freddie Haggerty elaborates what Jonathan Haggerty must be cautious on when fighting Superlek

Freddie Haggerty has switched his focus into helping his big brother Jonathan Haggerty to prepare for his second title defense fight at ONE 168: Denver.

'The General' is scheduled to clash with Superlek Kiatmoo9 on September 6, to defend his bantamweight Muay Thai world title in the headliner.

In the same interview with ONE Championship, Freddie identified several areas where his brother should look out for in Superlek.

The 19-year-old striker said that 'The Kicking Machine' is somewhat a one-trick pony, but that's what made him very dangerous:

"Superlek has one style, but he's great at it. His right side is so dangerous. The right kick and elbow are so lethal."
