Towering Thai-Algerian fighter Nabil Anane has had a busy second half to the year. He even fought three times in three months, and these run of fights began with an explosive showdown with Thai Kulabdam Sor Jor Piek Uthau in July in Thailand.
The two clashed in the headlining contest at ONE Friday Fights 69 on July 5 in Bangkok's Lumpinee Stadium, where the 6-foot-4 Anane made full use of his reach advantage to dominate 'Left Meteorite,' culminating in a devastating KO in the second round.
He opened things with solid jabs and low kicks to keep Kulabdam on the defensive. He picked up the pace as the opening round drew to a close, landing a pair of nasty knees, as well as some solid elbows to send the Thai fighter reeling.
In the second round, the 20-year-old Team Mehdi Zatout standout continued to pour it on with punishing shots to the body as he relentlessly pinned Kulabdam against the ropes and unleashed his strikes. Towards the end of the round, he connected with a big knee that sent his opponent down the canvas.

The hometown hero managed to beat the count, only to drop for good moments later after Anane uncorked another well-placed knee for the finish.

Nabil Anane had a short turnaround after, plunging back into action a month later against Brazilian standout Felipe Lobo, who he defeated by decision. In his last fight in September, he was once again a winner by decision over Burmese fighter Soe Lin Oo.
The winning run extended his current streak to five straight victories after opening his ONE journey with a loss to now double world champion Superlek Kiatmoo9 in June last year.
Nabil Anane returns to action at ONE Fight Night 26
Just as everyone thought they have seen the last of Nabil Anane for this year following three straight months of competing and training, he will be back in ONE Championship action next month.
He will feature in a bantamweight kickboxing clash against former divisional king Petchtanong Petchfergus at ONE Fight Night 26: Lee vs. Rasulov on Dec. 6 at the Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.
It comes a little over two months since his last match in September, where he defeated Soe Lin Oo of Myanmar by decision.
At ONE Fight Night 26, Nabil Anane will be up against an opponent in Petchtanong who had a successful return to action in June after a nearly two-year hiatus, defeating Russian Alaverdi Ramazanov by TKO in the second round.
ONE Fight Night 26 will be aired live and for free at U.S. primetime to North American fans with an active Amazon Prime Video subscription.
