FREE FULL FIGHT: Chinese star Zhang Peimian chops down Aliff Sor Dechapan in clinical Bangkok victory

Chinese kickboxing star Zhang Peimian starred in an epic strawweight kickboxing bout with Aliff Sor Dechapan at ONE Friday Fights 58 this past April.

Aliff kept Zhang at bay thanks to his long reach, but it was only a matter of time before 'Fighting Rooster' would find a breakthrough. Zhang opted to pressure the Thai-Malaysian fighter as the fight progressed and ultimately rode the momentum to the unanimous decision win.

The Shengli Fight Club star's best moments came in the second round as he wisely cut the ring to prevent Aliff from moving around and stunned Aliff by firing his trademark power punches.

While Zhang also received some damaging blows in this memorable encounter, his never-say-die spirit and rapidly improving fight IQ are excellent foundations to build upon as he aims to become a future ONE world champion.

The Chinese star already knows what it feels like to fight for 26 pounds of ONE kickboxing gold after facing Jonathan Di Bella for the vacant 125-pound kickboxing crown in October 2022. Di Bella upended Zhang via unanimous decision.

Zhang Peimian to fight legendary Sam-A at ONE 169

Zhang Peimian's next fight will be against the legendary Sam-A Gaiyanghadao at ONE 169: Malykhin vs. 'Reug Reug' on Nov. 8 inside the Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.

Sam-A is coming off a spectacular first-round knockout of three-time ISKA Kickboxing world champion Akram Hamidi this past September at ONE Friday Fights 81.

Claiming the upset win over Sam-A will greatly benefit Zhang in his quest to eventually challenging again for the ONE strawweight kickboxing world championship, which is currently held by Prajanchai PK Saenchai.
