After dominating the Philippines' MMA scene, Denice Zamboanga earned a roster spot in ONE Championship and made her promotional debut in December 2019 at ONE: Mark Of Greatness.

Zamboanga was welcomed by Malaysian star Jihin Radzuan as they battled inside the Axiata Arena in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

'The Menace' immediately took 'Shadow Cat' to the ground with a swift takedown in the opening moments of the first round to dominate in the top position. Although Radzuan threatened with several submission techniques, Zamboanga still rained down ground and pound strikes for most of the round.

This fight strategy became the main story of the bout, as the Filipino sensation rinsed and repeated it for the next two rounds to pick up the unanimous decision nod from the judges.

Denice Zamboanga plans to replicate Stamp's fight plan against Alyona Rassohyna in ONE Fight Night 26 showdown

The reigning number two-ranked divisional contender is now preparing for her ONE interim women's atomweight MMA world title showdown with number four-rated challenger Alyona Rassohyna at ONE Fight Night 27 on Jan. 10, 2025, at the historic Lumpinee Stadium.

Ahead of this world championship fight, Zamboanga recently talked to The MMA Superfan for an interview, and she shared her plan of ripping off some of Stamp's fight plan to also defeat her Ukrainian opponent by stating:

"It really helps a lot that I trained with Stamp before and I will face someone who she fought before because I will get to compare both of their skills. I think seeing how Stamp can outstrike her and how she defended against takedowns and submissions really helps a lot in my own preparations."
