In December 2022, Filipina MMA star Denice Zamboanga finally had the opportunity to showcase her skills in front of her compatriots inside the Mall of Asia Arena in Manila, Philippines, when she fought Lin Heqin at ONE on Prime Video 5.

The world's largest martial arts organization has published the full fight replay of this atomweight MMA match on their YouTube channel, and they wrote its video description with:

"Relive the back-and-forth atomweight MMA scrap between Filipino fan favorite Denice Zamboanga and Chinese ace Lin Heqin in 2022!"

'The Menace' not only showed her vastly improved striking skills at home but also the durability and ability to finish a fight in her favor.

Zamboanga was clipped multiple times by 'MMA Sister' throughout the match, but she retaliated with her own punches, particularly the right-hand punch, to also stun her Chinese opponent.

The biggest factor that swayed the judges in giving her the close split decision nod was the damage she inflicted on Heqin, as she opened a cut on her left eye.

This was a confidence-boosting triumph for Zamboanga because she was able to return to the win column and snap her two-fight skid from Ham Seo Hee, who defeated her twice in back-to-back matches.

"There's a lot of people waiting to see this match, and my opponent has been out for three years. Considering the journey I've had to go through for this and then losing to her will be very disappointing. That's why I'm giving my 100 percent in training."
