Panpayak reveals the reason for his two-year absence from competing
Before making his second appearance in 2024, 'The Angel Warrior' was candid with ONE Championship about his two-year sabbatical from the sport, revealing that he simply didn't have the motivation to compete anymore.
"The main reason I decided to stop fighting was because I felt burned out and had no motivation anymore," he revealed. "I felt that I had been using my body for a long time, so I wanted to take a break and do something else.”
Now that he's had the chance to recharge his battery, the beloved Thai superstar is ready to get back to work and put everything he has into every fight.
"We're gonna give you 100% on the training and on the fight, but I think I can come back to how I normally am. It doesn't matter if it's one fight, two fights, three fights, but we're gonna give 100% to all the fights we're going to take and we're going to give the best we can to take the win."
ONE Friday Fights 92 will air live from Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand on Friday, December 20.
