After an intense opening round where both athletes gauged each other's range, power, and chin, the Thai superstar started to pour on the pressure in the second stanza, when he pressed the 'Babyface Killer' onto the ropes by marching forward.
Petchtanong's left-hand punch was money in the round, as it landed multiple times, which stunned Ramazanov.
The match, however, prematurely ended halfway into the second frame because of an apparent foot that the Team Mehdi Zatout representative suffered, which awarded a TKO win for Petchtanong.
Petchtanong looks to continue his momentum against Nabil Anane at ONE Fight Night 26
After a successful return to action following a lengthy hiatus from action, the Superbon Training Camp representative is now tasked to face the 20-year-old striking phenom Nabil Anane in a bantamweight kickboxing contest at ONE Fight Night 26 on Dec. 6 at Lumpinee Stadium.
Petchtanong will be welcoming Anane to kickboxing as he transitions from the art of eight limbs, where he currently has a five-fight win streak.
The 39-year-old looks to halt the ascent of the young Thai-Algerian to superstardom and prove that he still has a lot left on the tank before riding the sunset of his pro career.
North American viewers with an active Prime Video subscription can watch all the action at ONE Fight Night 26 on Dec. 6, which will take place inside the Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.
