FREE FULL FIGHT: French-Algerian legend Anissa Meksen unleashes her class in beatdown of Marie Ruumet

French-Algerian kickboxing legend Anissa Meksen steamrolled Estonian standout Marie Ruumet in her ONE Championship Muay Thai debut at ONE 156: Eersel vs. Sadikovic in April 2022.

'C18' dictated the fight's pace by playing the aggressor and dropping Ruumet in the final seconds of the first round. Though 'Snow Leopard' reached the final bell, Meksen's crisp striking and ring generalship led to her winning via unanimous decision.

Following her conquest of Ruumet, Meksen earned her third victory in the world's largest martial arts promotion by overcoming a tough challenge from Dangkongfah Banchamek in October 2022.

However, Meksen suffered her first loss in ONE at the hands of Phetjeeja over the ONE interim atomweight kickboxing world championship in an action-packed five-round classic in December 2023.

The 36-year-old will have her second opportunity to win a ONE world title when she fights Jackie Buntan for the inaugural ONE women's strawweight kickboxing world championship at ONE 169: Malykhin vs. 'Reug Reug' on Nov. 8 inside the Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.

Filipino-American star Jackie Buntan is prepared for a firefight with Anissa Meksen over the inaugural ONE women's strawweight kickboxing world championship at ONE 169.

Speaking with ONE, the Boxing Works star said:

"I bet on myself all the time. I think I'm going to come out victorious, even if it's a five-round war. I have a feeling this is going to be that type of fight. I know I'm going to have to bring the dog out inside of me and bring it to her."
