Jordan Estupinan couldn’t have asked for a better start to his ONE Championship career. The 22-year-old Colombian made an unforgettable promotional debut at ONE 170 last Friday, Jan. 24, delivering a statement performance in front of a sold-out crowd at the Impact Arena in Bangkok, Thailand.

Right off the bat, Estupinan kept Haggerty guessing with a steady stream of kicks. But those were merely a smokescreen for his true weapons, which he unleashed in the second round.

As Haggerty stepped in with a looping punch, Estupinan countered with a devastating right hand that sent him crashing to the canvas.

Though the British prospect managed to beat the count, 'Panda Kick' wasted no time in sending him down again with another crushing shot.

To his credit, Haggerty showed tremendous heart in the final round, pushing forward with aggressive combinations to the body in a bid to turn the tide. However, Estupinan remained composed, weathering the storm and responding with sharp counters when needed.

After three explosive rounds, Estupinan clinched a unanimous decision victory, extending his flawless record to 8-0.

Estupinan twins go 2-0 at ONE 170

Jordan Estupinan wasn’t the only Estupinan celebrating that evening. His twin brother, Johan, also claimed a hard-fought victory by edging out Johan Ghazali in a flyweight Muay Thai battle between two of the division’s most promising young talents.

From the outset, both men went toe-to-toe, trading heavy shots at a blistering pace. Ghazali struck first, dropping Estupinan with a clean right hand in the opening round.

However, the Colombian responded in kind in the second, landing crisp punches that sent Ghazali to the mat. The Malaysian-American phenom demonstrated his resilience by surviving the round, setting up an intense final frame.

With the fight still up for grabs, Estupinan dug deep, overwhelming his opponent with relentless kicks and punches all the way to the final bell.

Estupinan’s relentless pressure sealed the deal, garnering him the nod on the scorecards and keeping his immaculate record intact at 27-0.

It was a perfect night for the Estupinan twins, who made their mark in scintillating fashion at ONE 170.
