Reigning and undisputed ONE lightweight submission grappling world champion Kade Ruotolo of the United States has built a reputation as one of the most ruthless finishers in all of BJJ.
The 21-year-old superstar is an absolute menace on the mats, able to source submissions from all sorts of positions using a variety of high-level techniques.
Ruotolo displayed those skills fully in his first encounter against Norwegian IBJJF world champion Tommy Langaker in June 2023.
The two grapplers met at ONE Fight Night 11 on Prime Video, which took place in Bangkok, Thailand, on June 9, 2023.

Langaker was able to match Ruotolo's pace and energy as the two exchanged positions throughout the match. However, it was Ruotolo's constant aggression that ultimately won him the contest.
The two jiujiteiros faced off in a rematch a few months later, and Ruotolo would repeat.
