Becoming a two-sport ONE world champion takes a lot of hard work and sacrifice, which strawweight Muay Thai world champ Prajanchai PK Saenchai was gunning for at ONE Friday Fights 68 last June 28.
Prajanchai squared off with the unbeaten Jonathan Di Bella over the right to claim the vacant ONE strawweight kickboxing world championship - the world title that Di Bella lost on the scales ahead of their originally scheduled bout this past April.
Di Bella controlled the ONE world title fight in the first two rounds, which put Prajanchai's chances of winning in great danger. However, the Thai great turned in an awesome performance in the last three rounds to claim double-champ status via unanimous decision.

The victory gave Prajanchai the distinction of becoming the fifth current ONE fighter to simultaneously hold at least two world titles in the world's largest martial arts promotion, joining the elite company of MMA stars Anatoly Malykhin and Christian Lee, as well as two-sport ONE greats Roman Kryklia and Jonathan Haggerty.
Prajanchai shying away from being crowned pound-for-pound great
While becoming a two-sport ONE world champion affords anyone on that list to claim a spot on the pound-for-pound list, Prajanchai recently shared that he is not all that interested in being viewed by the public as one belonging to that list of elites.
Prajanchai stated in the ONE Friday Fights 68 post-event press conference:
"This actually has never been in my mind that I am the best pound-for-pound striker in the planet or in any country or anything of that sort."
