Rodtang Jitmuangnon has built something special in ONE Championship that was already evident when he made his promotional debut in September 2018 against Surinamese fighter Sergio Wielzen.
The stage was ONE: Conquest of Heroes held in Jakarta, Indonesia, on Sept. 22, 2018 in a flyweight Muay Thai showdown. There, 'The Iron Man' showcased his elite striking skills that have become his trademark in the "House of Martial Arts" and endeared him to global fans.
Right at the onset, the Jitmuangnon Gym standout was on top of things against Wielzen, unleashing crisp striking while also displaying impressive speed to race to the well-earned unanimous decision victory.
ONE Championship recently uploaded the full fight on its official YouTube channel for fans to relive ahead of Rodtang's scheduled return to action this week in Thailand.

Rodtang looking for KO finish of Jacob Smith in rematch
Rodtang Jitmuangnon was dominant in his first encounter with British striker Jacob Smith two years ago but wants to be more devastating in their scheduled rematch at ONE 169 on Nov. 8, looking to come away with a knockout victory.
The two met in a ONE flyweight Muay Thai world grand prix quarterfinal match in May 2022, with 'The Iron Man' winning by unanimous decision.
Speaking to ONE Championship ahead of his rematch with Smith, the Thai superstar made it known that he is angling to knock out his English opponent, and if possible earn a performance bonus from the promotion's Chairman and CEO Chatri Sityodtong.
Rodtang said:
"I will do my best to knock him out. I want to knock him out because I want the bonus."
ONE 169 will mark the sixth defense of Rodtang of the ONE flyweight Muay Thai world title. His last successful defense came in May 2023 in the United States, where he stopped Mexican challenger Edgar Tabares by knockout in the second round.
