Turkish MMA standout Shamil Erdogan introduced himself to ONE Championship fans in explosive fashion at the expense of Chinese star Fan Rong at ONE Friday Fights 22 in June 2023.

In the opening round, Erdogan shot for a takedown that put 'King Kong Warrior' on his back. That allowed the ONE debutant to land some heavy ground-and-pound strikes featuring hammer fists and knees to the head.

Erdogan did not let up on his awesome onslaught in the second round, eventually ending Fan's night with a crushing kick to the body.
