The longtime rivalry between Superbon and Marat Grigorian was finally settled in April 2024 at ONE Friday Fights 5; fittingly, it was for the ONE interim featherweight kickboxing world title.
With one win against each other, Superbon and Grigorian went all in on their trilogy match at the legendary Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.
ONE Championship reposted the full fight replay of this exciting match on their official YouTube channel and wrote the video's description:
"Before reigning ONE Interim Featherweight Kickboxing World Champion Superbon returns to Muay Thai action against "Smoking" Jo Nattawut at ONE Friday Fights 81 on September 27, relive his crowning moment against Armenian striking superstar Marat Grigorian at ONE Friday Fights 58 this past April!"

With immense knowledge of each other, both the striking maestros immediately let go of their attacks in the opening round. This intense see-saw battle of powerful strikes and combinations became the theme of the championship bout.
Superbon utilized his signature kicks, while Grigorian tried to beat his Thai rival at his own game. However, the former ONE featherweight kickboxing world champion inflicted more damage and landed the cleaner shots to sway the judges into giving him the unanimous decision nod.
Superbon wants a quick turnaround after ONE Friday Fights 81 and wants to compete at ONE 169: Atlanta
Currently, Superbon is preparing for his featherweight Muay Thai clash with fellow Thai superstar Jo Nattawut in the main event of ONE Friday Fights 81 on Sept. 27, which will take place at the Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.
But in a recent interview with the South China Morning Post, the Superbon Training Camp representative wants to have a spot on the ONE 169: Atlanta card, as he declared:
"For me, I feel 100 percent. But I cannot say that because it does not depend on me, it depends on the boss."
