Superlek Kiatmoo9 claimed his first world title in January 2023 at ONE Fight Night 6 when he defeated Spanish warrior Daniel Puertas in their championship showdown inside the Impact Arena in Bangkok, Thailand.
The world's largest martial arts organization published the full fight replay of this high-stakes match on its YouTube channel, and they wrote its video description with:

The long-range approach by 'The Kicking Machine' was on full display throughout the showdown, as he utilized his punishing kicks to inflict damage on Puertas and live up to his moniker.
The Ultimate Fight School representative, though, didn't back off and countered with vicious boxing combinations whenever he had the opportunity in close range. At one point, he even tagged Superlek with a vicious punch.
But Superlek also had his moment in the third round, where he clipped Puertas with a solid punch of his own, but he couldn't finish the match. They went on to see the final bell and hear the points from the judges' scorecards.
In the end, the Thai superstar reigned supreme and came out on top with a unanimous decision victory to start a new era in the division.

Since that triumph over Puertas, the Kiatmoo9 Gym representative hasn't dropped a fight and has extended his win streak to 11, including another championship win over Jonathan Haggerty last September at ONE 168: Denver to become a two-sport and a two-division world champion,
Now, the 29-year-old striking sensation will defend his Muay Thai crown against the challenge of the number two-ranked divisional contender Nico Carrillo on Jan. 24 at ONE 170, which goes down inside the Impact Arena in Bangkok, Thailand.
