When Tawanchai PK Saenchai arrived in ONE Championship in 2021, he had a chip on his shoulder because of the hype surrounding his name. But he quickly lived up to it by ending his inaugural outing with a highlight-reel knockout of Sean Clancy in their bantamweight Muay Thai battle.

Since the opening bell, the Thai striking phenom immediately showed that there are levels to this game and proved that he is levels above the Irish star.
Tawanchai played the countering game, as he invited Clancy with his aggressiveness and used it against him. He used his signature left high kick to inflict damage in the first two rounds of the match, as Clancy's face began to show bleed with multiple bruises and wounds.
The Thai phenom scored an early knockdown in the opening round with a solid left-straight that sent him down the canvas. From then on, it was all Tawanchai.
Eventually, Tawanchai got the finish early in the third and final round with an atomic left high kick straight to the Siam Warrior Ireland and Yodyut Muay Thai Thailand representative's chin.
Tawanchai looks to make it 2-0 against Superbon in their championship rematch at ONE 170
On Jan. 24, the PK Saenchai Muaythaigym representative is booked to face the reigning ONE interim featherweight kickboxing world champion Superbon in a world title rematch for the ONE featherweight Muay Thai crown in the headliner of the ONE 170 card in front of the Impact Arena crowd in Bangkok, Thailand.
Tawanchai looks to replicate his win over his fellow Thai superstar, as he previously defeated him in their first meeting in December 2023 at ONE Friday Fights 46 with a majority decision victory.
