Kongthoranee fought in his eighth bout under the world's largest martial arts promotion against Russian monster Sharif Mazoriev at ONE Friday Fights 48 this past January.
The two hard-hitting Muay Thai fighters went blow for blow right from the opening bell, Kongthoranee was an unrelenting force of nature who was named the victor via unanimous decision for his non-stop offense.

The victory marked Kongthoranee's sixth-straight victory and followed it up with another successful foray inside the Circle at the expense of Jaosuayai Mor Krungthepthonbrui to post an overall 8-1 record under ONE.

At 27 years old, the Sor Sommai product will face reigning ONE flyweight kickboxing world champion Superlek Kiatmoo9 on Friday, June 28 at ONE Friday Fights 68.
With the event happening in front of their countrymen inside the historic Lumpinee Boxing Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand, Kongthoranee would love nothing more than to defeat one of the greats of this generation.
Kongthoranee said in the ONE Friday Fights 68 virtual press conference:
"I hope on Friday I will give my best performance. I regard Superlek as one of the best fighters in the world but I'm going into our fight with a purpose and that's to give it my all."
