Following back-to-back losses from Jonathan Haggerty and Nico Carrillo in 2023, former ONE undisputed ONE bantamweight Muay Thai world champion Nong-O Hama has finally snapped that skid with a decisive victory against fellow Thai Kulabdam Sor Jor Piek Uthai.
The two striking maestros co-headlined the ONE Friday Fights 58 in April 2024, which went down at the legendary Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.
ONE Championship published the full fight replay of this thrilling bout on their YouTube channel, and they wrote the video's description:
"Relive the intense three-round battle between former ONE Bantamweight Muay Thai World Champion Nong-O and Thai sensation Kulabdam at ONE Friday Fights 58!"

The Thai icon maximized his wealth of championship experience to trump 'Left Meteorite' with incredible phase and still-powerful strikes en route to a masterful unanimous decision triumph.
It was an all-important victory for Nong-O because he was able to put an end to the critics' and naysayers' bashing of him as washed and out of his prime. Furthermore, he was able to get back on track to another path back to world title contention.
Nong-O says he's still hungry for more wins despite already having a legendary resume
Ahead of his return on Sept. 27 at ONE Friday Fights 81, where he will face Kiamran Nabati in front of the Lumpinee Stadium crowd in Bangkok, the Evolve MMA representative had an interview with the South China Morning Post and shared his mindset heading into the fight.
According to Nong-O, he still possesses the same hunger to get wins against up-and-coming contenders, as he stated:
"I feel like the fact that I'm still here, is more of a challenge for myself. So the new opponents coming in is not for fame anymore like when I was younger. It is more like this person is very good, I would like to face this person as a challenge, and I would like to overcome that challenge. I want to show people that I'm still able to fight and I'm still hungry for victory, I would like people to see that."
