FREE FULL FIGHT: Thai sniper Petchtanong’s methodical beatdown of Chinese slugger Zhang Chenglong in Singapore

When former ONE bantamweight kickboxing world champion Petchtanong Petchfergus lost to Capitan Petchyindee in September 2020 at ONE: A New Breed III, he immediately bounced back and won against Zhang Chenglong a year later at ONE: Revolution.

It was his first victory in the promotion, and the full fight replay was reposted by ONE Championship on their YouTube channel, as they wrote the post's description with:

"Gear up for the return of former ONE Bantamweight Kickboxing World Champion Petchtanong as he collides with Russian striking superstar Alaverdi Ramazanov at ONE Friday Fights 68 by reliving his showdown with Chinese warrior Zhang Chenglong at ONE: REVOLUTION in 2021!"

The Thai veteran marched forward throughout the match and used his outside leg kicks to inflict the most damage against his Chinese foe. Aside from his accurate kicks, Petchtanong also peppered Zhang with close-range punches and elbows to score points on the judges' scorecards.

Eventually, the Superbon Training Camp representative secured the victory via unanimous decision, and positioned himself higher up the hierarchy in the dangerous bantamweight kickboxing division.

Petchtanong will face Alaverdi Ramazanov in an important match at ONE Friday Fights 68

Following that victory against Zhang, Petchtanong added Hiroki Akimoto to his list of victims with a close split decision win at ONE 163.

Now, the 38-year-old Thai star will make his highly anticipated comeback inside the ring as he takes on another former ONE bantamweight kickboxing king and current number three-ranked contender, Alaverdi Ramazanov, in a crucial bout at ONE Friday Fights 68, on June 28 at the historic Lumpinee Boxing Stadium.

A win for Petchtanong could guarantee him a spot in the top five rankings of the stacked division and inch him closer to a world title shot.
