Darren Till will make his return to the squared circle on Jan. 18 against former MMA fighter Anthony Taylor. The Scouser was initially set to face Tommy Fury in the main event of the show, but 'TNT' withdrew from the bout several weeks ago, citing Till's lack of willingness to obey the ruleset.
During their first press conference in November, 'The Gorilla' stated that if he was losing his boxing match to Fury, he would kick him in the head. Till's comments were enough for the younger brother of Tyson Fury to call off the fight, and the former UFC fighter will now face Taylor instead.
The pair will clash in the headlining fight of MisFits Boxing 20 in Manchester, England. They shared their final face-off on Jan. 17, where Till and his opponent got into a shoving match that nearly escalated into something more serious.
Footage of the face-off was reposted on X by MMA journalist Ariel Helwani, who wrote this:

Darren Till responds to Anthony Taylor's fiery pre-fight words
Darren Till and Anthony Taylor have traded heated words ahead of their boxing match on Jan. 18.
'The Gorilla' holds vastly more combat sports experience than his counterpart. But during a recent interview with MMA journalist Ariel Helwani, Taylor shared a bold prediction for fight night.
'Pretty Boy' believes a stoppage win is all but guaranteed, as he said this:
"I'm going to finish this dude inside three rounds. It doesn't matter what he has planned. If you want to kick, I'm gonna kick back. If you wanna elbow on the elbow punch -- whatever you want to do, I'll do it 10 times worse."
He added:
"I put in the hard work. I can't be denied the hard work that I put in. I train hard to make this sh** look easy." And that's the motto I follow."
