Ahead of their joint appearance at ONE 170 this Friday, Jan. 24, Johan and Jordan Estupinan offer fans a glimpse into their incredible journey — a story defined by resilience and perseverance.

ONE Championship shared a carousel of images on Instagram, chronicling the twins’ difficult rise from their home in Colombia to the global stage:

From an early age, Johan and Jordan endured the hardships of life in an orphanage, where survival was a daily struggle. With only each other to rely on, they quickly learned how to defend themselves, as their lives were often filled with fear and daily altercations.

Faced with the grim prospects of a future mired in gang violence, the brothers reunited with their mother, and together they began a new chapter. Fortunately, they discovered martial arts, a turning point that would shape their future success.

Johan was the first to make waves, announcing his arrival with a stunning 27-second knockout of Kouta Omori in his ONE debut in May 2024.

Just a month later, he showcased his dominance again, knocking down Zafer Sayik twice on his way to a unanimous decision victory.

In Sept. 2024, Johan added another standout moment, overcoming Filipino-American striker Sean Climaco with a second-round TKO.

Refusing to rest on his laurels, Johan wrapped up his 2024 campaign with a gritty win over Zakaria El Jamari in a thrilling back-and-forth battle.

Estupinan twins look to shine bright at ONE 170

Now, Johan Estupinan is set to share the global spotlight with his twin brother, Jordan, at ONE 170.

Johan will face the equally talented Johan Ghazali in a highly anticipated flyweight Muay Thai bout, while Jordan will square off against Freddie Haggerty in the same division.

Should the twins emerge victorious this Friday, they will join Angela and Christian Lee, along with Kade and Tye Ruotolo, as siblings who have competed side-by-side on the same card and secured victories in their respective bouts.
