Fight fans were treated to an interesting Conor McGregor moment earlier this week. The UFC star shared a bus with countless other celebrities to U.S. President Donald Trump's inauguration. Sure enough, comedian Theo Von seemed to have gotten a kick from meeting the polarising MMA superstar.
The highlight of McGregor's bus trip was his intense meeting with Logan and Jake Paul. 'The Notorious' has been beefing with the Pauls for some time and is linked to a boxing superfight with Logan in India.
Von describes the Irishman's arrival at the event bus as "energetic". During a recent segment of This Past Weekend podcast, he elaborated on the MMA megastar's otherworldly "aura", and his hilarious confrontation with the Pauls, saying:
"He was just fresh. He was just f*****g, like, he was just drinking Irish spring soap water... He was energetic and he growls right up. It was just a lot of energy. I guess he and the Pauls have had confliction online... He had his energy up like that [does a fighting stance]. Like he just found all the pots of gold they'd ever hidden... He aura was at about 7000-8000... I was like holy sh*t dude, the fu*king Karate Kid of Ireland."

Von's assessment of McGregor's temperament against Paul's holds. In a video doing its rounds on social media, the former UFC two-division champion calls the Pauls side jobs and takes aim at social media star KSI.
McGregor has been out of action since his infamous leg break against Dustin Poirier at UFC 264 in 2021. Many doubt whether the sport's most popular star would ever return to fighting.
When Theo Von warned Conor McGregor about Logan Paul's mom
While Conor McGregor's attention seemed to have been on Logan and Jake Paul during the bus trip, that didn't stop Theo Von from getting a sly dig at the UFC star. At one point, the podcaster cracked a hilariously confrontational joke, warning the Dubliner about the Pauls' mother, Pam Stepnick.
For context, 'The Notorious' sat next to Stepnick during the trip. In a photo posted by the fighter online, he can be seen casually draping his hand over her shoulder. In footage posted online, Von can be heard warning McGregor, saying:
"Keep your hands off Pam."
