Fans responded to Tyson Fury's demand for a trilogy fight against Oleksandr Usyk to resolve their rivalry. In their Dec. 22 rematch, Usyk defeated Fury by unanimous decision, successfully defending his heavyweight titles. Earlier, he had beaten 'The Gypsy King' in the title unification bout that took place in May.

With Usyk leading 2-0, it seemed that the competitive rivalry had come to an end. However, boxing journalist Michael Benson wrote on X, referring to a recent report from Sky Sports:

"Tyson Fury's team are now demanding a trilogy to settle this fully. [@SkySportsBoxing]"

Fans shared their opinions in the comments regarding the possibility of a trilogy fight. While some were open to the idea, others dismissed it, pointing out that Usyk won both of their previous fights, leaving little room for debate about the outcome of a third fight. Additionally, a few fans suggested that Fury should instead consider a match against fellow former champion Anthony Joshua.

In their Dec. 22 rematch, Fury aimed to use his size and reach advantage to keep Usyk at bay with his jab. Although this strategy was effective in the early rounds, Usyk eventually found a way to apply pressure on Fury using body shots and effective footwork.

As the rounds went on, Usyk managed to shift the momentum in his favor, winning eight out of 12 rounds on all three judges' scorecards. However, Fury and his promoter Frank Warren have strongly criticized the judging following the fight.

Teddy Atlas discusses a potential Tyson Fury vs. Anthony Joshua fight

Tyson Fury vs. Anthony Joshua is one of the most highly anticipated heavyweight boxing matches that has yet to happen. Both fighters are coming off losses in their recent bouts, and discussions about a potential fight between them are gaining traction on social media.

In an interview with Radio Rahim of Seconds Out, renowned boxing coach and analyst Teddy Atlas shared his perspective on how he believes the fight might unfold at this stage of their careers:

"I think that Fury is probably more versatile, he probably has more dimensions to him. Joshua is a better puncher, I think. Setting himself for one good shot... I think that would be a good fight because both guys are coming off losses, both guys are coming off where they've both lost a little piece of themselves. So, it, kind of, evens out."
