Georges St-Pierre recently heaped praise on Michael Dufort after their training session ahead of the PFL playoffs. The UFC Hall of Famer lent a helping hand to his fellow Canadian as he prepares for his semi-final matchup.

'The Canadian Bada**' will be taking on Gadzhi Rabadanov in the lightweight semi-finals of the PFL playoffs at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino Hollywood in Hollywood, Florida this Friday. It is a massive opportunity as the winner will advance to the finals, where they will compete for the 2024 PFL lightweight world championship and $1 million grand prize.

In a recent video uploaded to the PFL's YouTube channel, the former two-division UFC champion described what 'The Canadian Bada**' was like to train with. St-Pierre heaped praise on Dufort for being receptive to him and mentioned that he is a motivated fighter with plenty of potential in the PFL. He said:

"[Dufort] is a very young, talented, hungry fighter who works really really hard...[Dufort] is like a sponge. You know, I show him something once and immediately after in sparring he's able to duplicate it and do it. It's a real gift." [2:22 - 2:47]
